I'm wondering when the youtube view counts are updated? About 30 of my facebook friends, including 4 registered Democrats and hard core Obama supporters, reposted this on their profile. I gotta believe it's more than 350 hits.
That's all your own conjecture, and from your earlier post I'd say projection too.
You cant be so naive as to believe politicians dont deal with snarky approaches and camera ambushes a couple of times every week, or that he's never heard this before and a lot worse. "Do you support the Obama agenda" isnt some sort of outrageous infuriating challenge. This guy is a professional, he's heard it all over many years. This was nothing.
You think he acted this way just because he's a Democrat. But he's been a Democrat in Congress since 1996, and there have been no other reports of such a thing happening with him.
I conclude that his overreaction came from somewhere a lot deeper and uglier. The "Who are you? What's your name?" adds to that suspicion -- as does the walking-with-the-head-down, the suspicious glance upward as he approached and the sullen grunt in reply to "Hi, Congressman."
You know that kid will press charges and reporters will be investigating this guy inside out -- let's see what they come up with about what's been on his mind that made him freak out.
Who cares what deep, inner demon is lurking in this fool. (Maybe his mamma cares.....) He could just as easily have stepped away, said, "Sorry I can't speak to that now", etc., but that would take a measure of character, circumspection and self-control. Decency demands we act accordingly in the public sphere, especially as a public civic figure. No excuses just cuz he's your guy.

Well, duh, "he could have," shouldawouldacoulda. Arent you interested to know what his freakin' problem is?
Oh, and Im not making excuses for him in the least, if you were to read through the thread you would know this.
This looks like a typical Breitbart hit job. Without evidence I there is no reason to believe that the kid in the video is a student. Without evidence, the unedited video, there is no reason to assume that what is depicted is accurate.
That said, even what I saw on the video is reprehensible. He had no business assaulting someone even if they are directly criticizing his political positions.
Not really, he can explore his issues as a private citizen.
But he didnt! That's what makes this so interesting!
