Liberals are obsessed with spelling errors. It is a mental quirk that they all share. It comes from

1. the desire to show thier arrogant "superiority" by pointing out trivial spelling errors

2. it shows they are concerned with process, rather than content and the actual message

3. it is a reflection of thier political ideology, in which process is more important than common sense.- i.e.- they entirely miss the big picture and get bogged down in meaningless minutia. Thus the liberal enthusiasm for a "legal system" which allows criminals to go free, rather than a "justice system" Liberals would be happily correcting spelling errors on rail passes headed to the death camps and would be gleeful at thier contribution to improved spelling and punctuation.

Yes, Hawkeye.......you have summed it up pretty well with this one!
Thus, all the bureaucratic red tape that makes our govt. run sooo efficiently and provides "justice" for all.
But, isn't it nice to see they care so much and are willing to accept a measley $100K salary to ensure proper grammar and punctuation?
