You're actually drawing false correlation. Places with strict gun laws tend to be highly density urban areas where a great deal of violent gun crime happens. The same rules cannot apply.

Just to let you know 30 yrs ago when I lived in my old neighborhood (Pilsen area), there were 52 shootings in that AREA alone in one week.
It all depends on how many gang wars are going on at the time and guess what?
Many in that area are illegal.
Just saying and it was bad, people should not have to live like that.
