There is no doubt that the NBPP creeps were flexing muscle and getting WAY cocky. I firmly believe that they felt no harm would befall them, especially if O were elected, which he was, and they skated. Yes, there is a bone being tossed here, no doubt about it.and it is certainly racially motivated. It's an ugly mess, and it's being rubbed in our faces to boot. Infuriating, to say the least, and being justified by the panderers of the left. This will get far worse before it gets better, so, if ya voted for O, you either wanted this, or were duped by the fantasy that it would not happen. Look for a lot more strong arm from fervent Obama supporters in Nov. They will be emboldened by this, and do far worse in a few months.
Exactly.

Has anyone noticed how most of the media has largely ignored this story? It keeps getting bigger and bigger and media like CNN fail to inform readers/viewers. You'd think they would learn their lesson by now. How many stories in the last few years have they just ignored hoping they'd die down just so they wouldn't have to give in and report?
This will be another one that'll keep getting bigger and they will have to play catch up on. Its amazing they have any viewers still. Purposely ignoring stories or facts because they are more loyal to a regime and liberal agenda is unforgiving and treasonous for a"news" outlet. And they wonder why they have such bad ratings.
At least this gives the state of Arizona and easy win over the Justice Department in the upcoming court case over their anti illegal immigration law. All they have to do is rewrite the law to say they hate *******s (or some other racially insensitive term), want to kill mexican babies and don't want americans seen dating mexican women, and have some police with night sticks and clubs stare down anybody with mexican heritage they see. Then Eric Holder will view the court case as without having merit and just drop it.
Obama will then get praised by his supporters and everybody will be happy.

It does make one wonder how Obama will use the Black Panthers and ACORN to disrupt the 2010, as well as 2012 elections. I am sure that he will call them out in force to intimidate voters and to have ACORN submit false votes.
Any American should be chilled by what Obama is doing, as his antics are more akin to a corrupt African cheiftan, rather than a president of the US. It is truely shocking that liberals simply ignore this gross miscarriage of justice and are actually applaudinig the legal assaults Obama has levied against the states.

Agreed!
The Obama administration initially pursued the case, winning a default judgment in federal court in April 2009 when the Black Panther members did not appear in court. But then the administration moved to dismiss the charges the following month after getting one of the New Black Panther members to agree to not carry a "deadly weapon" near a polling place until 2012.
That's lovely. They agreed not to carry a deadly weapon near a polling place until 2012. How comforting. I guess that means that midterm elections should be quiet, even with them around, because they won't be carrying deadly weapons. Just shouting hate speech at white voters. No big deal. (sarcasm off).
The commissioners want to hear from Christopher Coates, the former chief of the Justice Department's voting section, but the commission claims the Justice Department is blocking Coates from testifying about why the case was dropped.
The Justice department (Holder) doesn't want truth to surface!
We have a corrupt government, and Obama must surely know it.
Forget about the New Black Panther Party case; it is very small potatoes. Perhaps the Panthers should have been prosecuted under section 11 (b) of the Voting Rights Act for their actions of November 2008, but the legal standards that must be met to prove voter intimidation — the charge — are very high.
In the 45 years since the act was passed, there have been a total of three successful prosecutions. The incident involved only two Panthers at a single majority-black precinct in Philadelphia. So far — after months of hearings, testimony and investigation — no one has produced actual evidence that any voters were too scared to cast their ballots. Too much overheated rhetoric filled with insinuations and unsubstantiated charges has been devoted to this case.
"No one produced any evidence voters were too scared to cast their ballots." Well if I saw a black panther standing outside a voting place doing what they were doing I would just turn around and leave. Does that mean next time we can have people dressed like the KKK standing around outside a voting place and it will be ok?

The standards for 11(b) are extremely high. A similar suit was brought during the Bush years against the minutemen who were intimidating hispanics at a polling place, with the same result. In the 45 years since the Voting rights Act, only 3 cases have been successfully tried.
Did they get the others on tape? I would think that would make a big difference. Hearsay as opposed to taping what happened.
