Uh... You don't believe that McCain would have been more of the same, yet in the next sentence you admit that McCain wouldn't have changed anything.

The problem here is that Obama was supposed to change politics to be more for the people and less for the special interests, yet he has betrayed us on that promise.

First, he campaigned using the same platform that many others have used prior to him. Second, assuming that it can be changed, how long do you think it would take? Two years? Less than two years, I think not...

That was sarcasm....implement a multiple trillion dollar entitlement we can't pay for.

Not doing backdoor deals, not hiring lobbyists.. these promises have been contradicted by Obama's actions already. It doesn't take two years to avoid backdoor deals and lobbyists - it takes avoiding them from day one. And here we have backdoor deals and lobbyists from Obama. More of the same.

McCain would have been heavy on the special interests and light on the good of the country, just like Bush has been. Here we have Obama not changing the special interest politics scene even though his campaign was based on such change. McCain's campaign was riddled with the notion that he wouldn't change a thing.

But don't we all agree that we need to change the special interest circus in Washington? I guess not McCain voters... unless they have wised up since 2008.

Name one President that hasn't contradicted something he campaigned against.

And this is supposed to prove what, how? Are we supposed to be happy about not getting what we voted for?

The bigger moron is whoever voted for "I know know how to get bin Laden" and his inept running mate.

It proves nothing. I'm just pointing out that as a politician, Obama is no worse than those that came before him (at least not in modern history). I also think its naive to expect somebody to keep all promises that they made during the campaign. One, they can't control everything. Two, sometimes you have to give something to get something so prioritizing becomes very important. Three, the world or the information that you have access to may cause you to change your mind.
