I was reading about this internet kill switch in case of a terror attack and thought to myself, "What is the real agenda behind shutting the internet down?"
Here is a snippet from the article I kind of laughed at...
Internet Kill Switch Approved by Senate Committee - cbs4.com (http://cbs4.com/technology/internet.freedom.regulation.2.1774665.html - broken link)
"The bill would give the president the power (http://cbs4.com/technology/internet.freedom.regulation.2.1774665.html# - broken link) to call it lights out for the Internet if there is "a cyber attack capable of causing massive damage or loss of life."
How does this make sense to you? Should the President have the ability to block the sources of knowledge that are available on the internet to where we can only access the government scripted mainstream media?

No, it does not make sense, but maybe it's pay off to all the media that supported him. I guess we'll be back to reading Newspapers.
Humor aside it is very scary, but could be very useful if you want to control what people hear and read.
You obviously don't know your history or have no problem blatantly disrespecting the Jewish people of the world if you want to compare a government internet control to Hiter and Nazism.

Only difference between those times and now is the technology and kinds of control being implemented. Why is it that every time the truth is spoken these days that people like me are called a racist or terrorist for disagreeing with the incremental implementation of control our government is pushing for.
Gun Bans in places like Chicago where the criminals are the only ones with guns, Warrant-less wiretaps, Naked Body Scanners, Foreign troops on American soil training and "helping" during disasters.....20 years ago you didn't need to take off your shoes to fly on an airplane and now you have naked body scanners...but you're right...it's not Nazi Germany just yet....there are more steps to be taken and laws to be passed "for our own protection" of coarse before we are forced onto those trains to work camps....It's not taht way yet, but if we let government continue down the current path....it could very well be.

Why do you personally think there is a need for a kill switch to be used for protection from "loss of life"?
An internet kill switch and government oversight of things in the name on national security has next to nothing to do with trying to wipe a religion off the face of the earth.
