Is the NAACP intentionally stirring up racial tensions?
The NAACP's motivation in declaring there are "racist elements" in the tea party movement is a disinformation ploy to mobilize blacks and Hispanics to get out and vote the Democrat ticket and to shun any candidate endorsed by the tea party.
Watch......it's going to get even uglier the closer we get to November.
According to pretty much every right leaning person on this board, Hispanics and Blacks are drones that vote Democratic, no matter what. Why would they need to stir up racial tensions?
This is the one of the oldest tactics in the book. If someone accuses you of being racist, reject it and accuse THEM of being racist for simply bringing up the issue.
You see the same thing occasionally when someone speaks up for gay equality. The anti-gay folks will accuse them of being anti-heterosexual. It's ridiculous.
For the same reason I join any organization; because I wanted to. The organization I'm most active in is one for professional women in my field. There's also one for black professionals, but I felt the one for women more closely matched my interests...however no one has never accused us of wanting to segregate ourselves from men...I wonder why it's okay to have separate organizations for sex but not race...
This is funny ... you want to call others racists ... yet I'm a member of no organizations (don't care for group think), and ESPECIALLY not one labeled National WHITE whatever ... and if there were such a list as I posted earlier replacing Black with White ... a dozen cities would be set afire in nationwide protests, and EVERYBODY knows it. So just fess up, and don't be a coward. You're a racist, so have the intestinal fortitude to admit it.
And, there is no "segregation" between women and men? Are you for real? The "feminist" movement, which was led by Gloria Steinam, was created to drive a wedge between men and women. Ms. Steinam was a card carrying member of the CIA ... which she admits to now. That movement was funded by the government and government affiliated foundations for the primary purpose of creating division and tensions ... destroy the family structure and pit women against men.
And since then, men have been demonized, or made to look like weak, buffoonish fools by television and print media, especially the magazines targeted at women.

Probably because no one called attention to it or that 24 hour memory of yours is working just fine. Geez, nobody has answered the question in this thread, how can you say the NAACP is a racist organization, when they have white members, and compare it to the KKK or a NAAWP, who would hang a black if they tried to join those groups?

You bring up a fair point. I do not think they are a racist organization. I think they are an organization that is in search of a cause. And that explains why their actions are growing sillier by the day.
The NAACP was created during some pretty grim times for black people. And over the years they did some pretty good work. They fought for equality and rights- advancement as their name says. Most reasonable people today have no gripe with that.
But, "advancement" has now reached the pinnacle. We have a black man as President. President. The most powerful person in the world is the American President. Where else is there to go? What else is there for the NAACP to accomplish?
Yes, yes. There are still bigots out there. No doubt. But obviously not enough to prevent a black man becoming the most powerful man in the world. Consequently, the NAACP is reduced to finding racism in Hallmark greeting cards and messages regarding low taxes.
Ideally, they should proclaim victory and disband. I realize they will not do that. But they continue at their own risk as the look ever-more absurd.

It is a sign of progress yes, but there's still at least subtle, almost blantant, racism towards blacks in the USA....(and other minorities)....
I have to laugh when white people say there's racism against them, as a group. White folks can avoid minorities and still advance and have a life and prosper. Minorities frankly, cannot do the opposite (neither whites or minorities should do that intentionally though).
