Not in this case. The original unedited video has been located. That can be directly compared to the edited version. In this case its not he said-she said. It's "Let's go the video tape!"

Editing can easily be proven; police records can be proven.

It's against the law to edit a video for the purposes that they used it.
I guess right wing morality is a bit different from my view of morality.
If editing is illegal, then MSNBC should be sued for editing that video of a black man holding an AR-15. Wouldn't you agree?
The recording of the convesation was illegal. I provided links to the California statue.
That's not Vera's place to sue someone for breaking a law. That's the State of California's responsibility. Again, if he was wrongly fired because of it, he would first have to prove that by suing ACORN and then going after O'Keefe and Giles. As it stands, he has NO grounds for a lawsuit from what I've read.
