This is a really good thread and someone should move it over to history before it becomes a den of stupidity.

By the way, I read every post on the thread.

Bush Jr. was more of an idiot than a far right President, and the clown most responsible for getting Obama elected. Obama was elected as the anti -Bush and both of them suck.

My closest bet, would be Hoover.

That man took hands off economics, and this country, right to the brink.

LOLs. Why do people even say stuff like this.

He gave us the largest federal takeover of education.

Gave us the largest ever expansion of government with homeland security.

Socialized airport security,

Invaded 2 countries. (Look at thistory, it's the left in this country that starts wars, not the right)

He is for civil unions. (Exact same position as John Kery and many others on the left.

He made ZERO attempt to overturn abortion.

Only thing conservative he did was try and get social security under control. The Party of NO blocked him, even though they know ss is broke.

And don't tell me I'm rewriting history. Those are facts.

Hoover created all kinds of government programs to try and get the economy straight. FDR just continued and expanded Hoovers programs.

The idea the Hoover was hands off economically is something the left has made up over the years to make it look like FDR was correct.

Who was the last real far right President?
By far right you mean limited government at home and abroad?

Calvin Cooolidge was the last rightie in office. Before that it was Warren Harding.

Every Republican president since then has increased the size and role of federal government and are not to be confused with conservatives.

A politically gutless and amoral bastard, a far-right warmonger, a dead SOB (at long last), and, of course, a capital-"C" Crook.

W was the only entity since that made me miss him.
