And, pompous ass that he is, refuses to apologize, even going so far as to declare the white farmer who has defended Ms. Sherrod to be a fake.

And to their utmost shame, the Main Stream media picked this fraud up and ran with it. The result? Without so much as a glimmer of fact-checking, Ms. Sherrod was vilified by the media, and subsequently asked to resign.

Not only does Ms. Sherrod deserve an abject, face-to-face apology by President Obama and the NAACP, but she also deserves a front-page and lead-story apology from every Broadcast and Print News Media outlet that ran with this fraud of a story and didn't bother to check it's authenticity.

It is this kind of garbage disguised as journalism that is the real danger to this country. The misinformation and half-truth glut that serves only to further whatever cause these frauds ascribe to. Half-truths are lies, and, yes, context matters. read on:

Now reopen Breitbart's ACORN fraud -- and get the story right

Sherrod's case parallels deceptions used in that other big smear -- and offers a chance to restore lost standards

Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, a dedicated public servant innocent of the prejudice and misconduct falsely imputed to her, deserves justice. As soon as the White House and Tom Vilsack restore her job, with an appropriate apology, they will begin to remove a stain of cowardice from their administration. But while that may be all the government can do, it isn’t sufficient to close this case.
You assertions re: Mr. Breitbart are inane, childish, idiotic, asinine, groundless, baseless and demonstrate with crystal clarity that you don't believe in a free press, preferring, instead, that the media be a house organ of the ruling elites.

For the real and true record, Breitbart is doing an excellent job, along with Fox News, Rush, Mark, Sean and all the others who balance out the non-journalists embedded in MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, et al.

The question stands...
Do you really want to posit that it's okay to commit a crime if it ends well?

When they applaud a racist action, yes it is. Sorry you can't see that through your kool aide glasses.

I've said this several times, what part of it do you not get?

Was it ok for Dan Rather to use faked evidence to "get" President Bush? Should he have kept his job?

Your question has been answered several times.

Just because you do not like my answer, doesn't make that answer invalid.

Your question is moot. She did not violate Mr. Spooner's civil rights.

Move on.

I wonder how many people would agree that it's okay to commit a crime if it ends well...

Valid question. Sherrod did in fact violate his civil rights. Even more, she admitted so.

How pathetic.

Think about it.
Who had this video in the first place, I'm sure he didn't.
Who sent it to him and for what reason if not to set him up and try to start something?
Why didn't he investigate the video before using it? He has said in interviews that the video was first sent to him in April of 2010.
