Does a man to a woman no longner have to be subject to draft? If they are pre 18, once they turn 18, do they not have to register?

A female to a male, does that person have to register?

Has this even been thought about?

remember, the penalties for not registering are jail and denial of student loans. is it fair to avoid selective service obligations by having a sex change?

Google is your friend, use it.
How does the Military Selective Service Act apply to individuals who have had a sex change? Individuals who are born female and have a sex change are not required to register. U.S. citizens or immigrants who are born male and have a sex change are still required to register. In the event of a resumption of the draft, males who have had a sex change can file a claim for an exemption from military service if they receive an order to report for examination or induction.

Can't help but chuckle at the idea of millions of Max Klingers, at their most desperate, resorting to making eunuchs of themselves to avoid a war. The probabilities of that are pretty slim considering men express a preference for being blind, deaf, or seriously ill than being impotent. I don't even want to begin commenting on male self image.

My fave is the Hungarian peasant girl look. It suits him even if it doesn't suit the army. Too bad nobody told him if he really meant to dodge all he had to do was take drugs long enough to claim a habit.
