Personally my feeling is yes. If I have to register for selective service and am eligible for conscription (in the rare instance it was reinstated) then so females should also be eligible for both as well. Its only fair.
And for those who think that females cant fight there were more then a few female snipers in the Russian Army during WWII who had kill totals of well into the hundreds. The Russians also had female pilots. And several European nations (as well as Canada and Israel) also allow females into combat units.
Absolutely, I work with many committed and strong women in US Navy and they are certainly not too fragile to fight. It is our country, too. Had there been a decent career path in my youth, it would have been great experience, but so limiting at the time.

Israel doesn't allow women in all combat unit's/jobs infantry being one of them think artillery also among a few other's.
Anyone here who has served in Israeli military or lives there will back me up .
"few female snipers in the Russian Army during WWII who had kill totals of well into the hundreds."
This is what Russia claim's .
We do have f pilot's as far as helicopter's go have no idea of jet's would imagine yes.
It should be voluntary. I don't prefer conscription for women. They can do one thing men couldn't do: breed a next generation of soldiers.
Since the draft does not take the whole population, I think we would have enough breeders left.
