What matters at the end of the day is who wins the elections and who is in control. I know that some conservatives are loving the mental masturbation of examining the polls every day, but the election isn't until November, and for now, Democrats are in charge.

If Republicans take control of Congress next year, I think it will make it easier for Obama to win in 2012.

Ummm... that was Carville, a Democrat strategist, examining the poll.

Not a chance. He's lost the confidence of the entire world. Even Europe doesn't like Obama anymore.

Good for Elton. Its nice to see every now and then, someone in the Hollwyood/Music biz actually use......COMMON SENSE. Too bad more in hollywood arent like that. I will never understand how that industry is 90+ percent full of liberal buffoons and hypocrites.

All of those decades of drug and alcohol abuse have led to brain damage. I guess that's what it takes for someone who is anti-gay to admire a homosexual.
Why all the hate?

Maybe you can start a new thread titled "Elton John performs in AZ - This is an outrage!"

I think Elton John is a physical and psychological mess. Many years of drug and alcohol addiction have taken their toll. I wouldn't trust him to have much common sense at this point.

Elton is trying to build bridges and understanding, while the Left wants to foment hate.

I know that.

Would you be willing to bet your life's savings on Obama losing in 2012? If not, then you must have some doubt about it.

Immigration is a big issue in all of europe, in fact it's always been a huge issue in Australia, new zealand, most of asia, south america etc. Check out Mexico's immigration laws and how they treat the Guatemaleans on their southern border.

america is the only country in the world that has such a lax immigration policy and such lax attitudes.

450 million europeans live with the same basic laws they now want in AZ, and have for many, many years. There is nothing radical about proving who you are and that you have legal status and have gone thru the proper channels and filled out the proper forms and waited in line. Maybe with so many borders so close together they've had to be way ahead but really all countries have that.

the hispanics are the only ones who feel they're above it, they don't have to wait in line, apply, fill out the paperwork and get in line. It should be a free for all for the poor oppressed mexican.

my friend was in argentina, got stopped by the police, he didn't have his passport and visa on him - he spent the night with 30 others in an argentinian jail cell with a bucket for a toilet until it was cleared up. If he wasn't in order they'd have deported him the next day and nobody would've cried for him.

a belgian living in germany was detained by german police for having outdated registration on his car, he couldn't prove he was living in germany legally and was sent to jail before it could be cleared up.

This happens all the time in the rest of the world. What Arizona is doing is not radical.

I love how liberals love to look at europe, they love the trains, free university education, great vacation and maternity leave but they want to look at europe in a vaccum. They don't want to see europes immigration policies and laws. And they deal with it to. They have people crossing over land from Turkey, they have people in boats coming from northern africa. The difference is europe handles it.

the avg. american would be shocked at how immigration is perceived in the rest of the world, the avg. american would be shocked that strident anti-immigration , leftist parties are still voted for in countries like Switzerland and Austria. You know, in europe, that liberal , socialistic bastion of free health care.

the avg. american is so insular they have no idea how the rest of the world opperates. The truth is the Arizona law isn't radical and the only reason arizona is doing it is b/c the federal gov't hasn't stepped up to the plate.

If the GOP take control, it shows what an utter failure and disaster your false messiah has been. It will show that the wool has been pulled back from so many people eyes.

And why does it not surprise me that you "blame" Elton's comments on drug/alcohol abuse. You prove the theory that liberalism is indeed some sort of mental disorder.
You know something though. All of your heroes in hollywood who spew liberal garbage, probably indulge themselves in drugs/alcohol. I mean, that is hollywood. And I hate to break it to you, Barry has had his share of drug use. But you dont blame their liberalism on drugs/alcohol.....why not? Probably has something to do with it actually being a mental disorder
