I don't think ex boyfriends should be allowed at weddings.

If Rush wanted him and Elton wanted to do it, I see no problem.

Elton John sings at Rush Limbaugh's wedding | Story | Wonderwall
It's not like Elton John is that short on cash, desperate for $$. I think that a ultra-rich gay perfomer should have more pride and not stoop to the level of being a stooge to perform for adolf hitler and his eva braun.
At the very least, Elton John should donate the $1M to a gay rights organization that would promote tolerance/equality for gay rights in the US.

Performers used to have morals. I remember back in the 80s when top performers refused to play at the Sun City resort in
South Africa, then an apartheid state. These cats really don't care anymore.

Elton's lack of pride and ego is astounding to me.

Sure, he's being paid nicely by someone who can afford him.

Hold on there sparky.

I disagree with Limbaugh 99% of the time, but calling him Hitler is a gross exaggeration.

If Sir John wants to sing for Rush's wedding, thats his business, and no one elses.

I don't think Limbaugh is that against homosexuals, I haven't seen to much of what he's said that is homophobic. He's a lot less outspoken on that issue, then he is other ones.

What is the point of this thread? Why is it "right" or "wrong" for Elton John to perform at Rush Limbaugh's wedding? It's just a simple business transaction between two private parties. If Elton John doesn't want to take it for personal reasons, he doesn't have to. I don't see what the problem is.

Maybe Rush and Elton are acquaintances, or do you think politics trumps everything in life?
