At the very least, Elton John should donate the $1M to a gay rights organization that would promote tolerance/equality for gay rights in the US.

Performers used to have morals. I remember back in the 80s when top performers refused to play at the Sun City resort in
South Africa, than an apartheid state. These cats really don't care anymore.

His lack of pride and ego is astounding to me.
Now Rush is Hitler? A radio show entertainer that has no power what so ever is now Hitler?

You calling Rush Hitler is astounding to me

What business is it of anyone if Elton John wants to sing at Rush Limbaugh's wedding?

As long as they were both consenting adults and no animals were injured, why not?

Rush paid the fee and Elton agreed to the terms. No gripe from me.

Rushs' check cashes like anybody else's.
I can't stand Rush...but if he (or his bride) want Elton John to sing at their wedding, and can pay for it, what has that got to do w/ me?

At last!! Something both sides can agree on. (Most of them, anyway.)

It ain't no frickin' business of anyone if Rush wants Elton to sing at his wedding and Elton wants to do it.

Keep moving. Next "controversy"........

What a stupid thread. Why do you care who sang at the wedding? Would it be wrong for Elton John to be a guest at the White House since Obama agrees with Limbaugh on the matter of gay marriage?

James Carville was a guest at the wedding and that is way more creepy and odd than Elton John being hired to play a few tunes.

Then again, you only know Rush's professional side.

Some of these political commentators are best of friends with the very people they argue with on TV. You can totally disagree with a person when it comes to their politics, and yet be very good friends with them.
