I despise men who father children and will not shoulder their responsibilities to support them and raise them.
My viewpoint as a flaming liberal is that jailing these deadbeat dads serves as a drain on our resources, but I would support a government residential workhouse system (minimum security prison) for them to meet their obligations until the child reaches majority status. Let them work like the chain gangs did in the 30s building roads and cutting brush so that the taxpayers can realize some return from the welfare we pay.
That would make a subject for a good thread, BTW. Why don't you start one for us?

There's truth, and there's simple mean-spiritedness, and that's all I have to say.
Is it not mean spirited to call an innocent child a bastard child?

Yet, you have no problem calling the son of Bristol, who is an innocent, a bastard child.
Neither did the baby, who some would call a bastard child. Doesn't the baby deserve the same deference in the choice as you give Chelsea?
like it or not bristol's child does fit the description of bastard. chelsea's parents were married and she is legit.
like it or not rush is/was a drug abuser. he is a chicken hawk and his followers are easily led
