It's a non-issue to me. CA can do whatever they want as long as their residents approve it.
But just remember..don't get your panties all twisted up in knots if you decide to move to Texas and try to get a divorce.

You say that now.

The backers of Prop 8 are going to push this all the way to the SOCTUS.

Now, the court could simply rule that the proposition was unconstitutional, and that on a state basis, you can't discriminate. However, they'll probably just rule the whole thing null and void nationwide.

Which would mean, homosexuals in Texas can get married, and the state would have to grant the same rights to gay married couples, as they do to any other.

You'd think priests would be happy. Its going to increase their business. Think of the flood of weddings.
