The guy stabbed some white guys too AND a Hispanic guy. But yet various media outlets keep going out of their way saying he stabbed "mostly african-american" men.
Uhhh... because in a predominantly white area he mostly stabbed blacks. It's not random chance.
Flint Michigan is not predominantly white. In fact, Flint is majority black.
"The man -- who is believed to have stabbed at least 16 men in the Flint area between the May 24 slaying of 31-year-old David Motley and Aug. 2 death of 49-year-old Arnold Minor -- also is suspected of stabbing two men and using a hammer to attack another in Leesburg, Virginia on Aug. 4, 5 and 6. Leesburg is located 40 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., an 11-hour drive from Flint. "
Saturday stabbing could be linked to Flint's serial slasher | detnews.com | The Detroit News (http://www.detnews.com/article/20100811/METRO/8110409/Saturday-stabbing-could-be-linked-to-Flint-s-serial-slasher - broken link)
"Fourteen of the 16 victims in Michigan were African-American, police said. Flint is a majority African-American community. In majority-white Leesburg, Virginia, two victims were black and one was Latino."
That's because he did stab mostly african american men. What they didn't do was mention that he was an arab. They let the misunderstanding stand that he was a jew (which he isn't) because he is an israeli citizen. That is the more egregious slant.

This from CNN. It would be more race-neutral if he stabbed some white people in Leesburg too.
I think it doesn't matter whether he is a Jew or Arab. The media said he was an ISRAELI who lived in the USA... and that is factually correct. I didn't see the word "Jew" anywhere. He is a killer and regardless of what his ethnicity is -- that's the bottom line. People of any race can be killers, but of course it always riles people up more when the killer is Arab.
Personally I think he has some psych issues, maybe more than race issues.
