Great. Then now is about time for him to step up to the plate and start addressing PTSD, in time for my brothers to come home.

Classy little dictator.

If that's what you call, 'class'.
As long as he dressed up like an action figure and had a catchy slogan, yes, that IS what they call "class"!

To the original poster: thanks for the links.

I also was not a George W. Bush supporter, either as Governor or President (indeed, nor as minority owner of the Texas Rangers).

However, I have always viewed him as a decent man. His surprising returning troops by greeting them is really no surprise to me. I will also always recall with sentimental memory his inspiring words when he addressed the nation after the 9-11 terrorists attacks, as well as other reasons.

I like to look for the good in all people. Rare is the person that is a total monster. As Harper Lee stated at the beginning of her book, "Lawyers were children once, too" (or such; I am recalling from memory).

Bush doesn't give a damn about human life or the troops. If he did, him and darth cheney never would have sent them into iraq. Obama has done the most patriotic thing of this war, getting our heroes out of iraq where they never should have been in the first place, and getting them out of afghanistan as well next year to where they belong,.........Home.

I AM one of those families and the man did care about and have respect for the troops. That is a FACT. Don't use "the families" line if you are NOT one of the families. You have NO idea how we feel.

LMAO!!! That is funny almost like saying I give my kid who has no job money to buy drugs but it is not my fault at all because he is the one that actually talked to the dealer.
