Blagojevich:

"This jury shows you that the government threw everything but the kitchen sink at me."

"They could not prove I did anything wrong - except for one nebulous charge from five years ago."

Ah, actually all but one juror voted to convict you, but of course you distort the truth and feign outrage.

Chicago justice, Chicago politics. More of the same.

I'm sure it doesn't seem like a big deal to sell a senate seat but it is a very big deal. You mention, "like all the others haven't been bought...." I won't deny that it doesn't happen but if it is allowed without any legal punishment then all of the senate seats can and will be sold out right to the highest bidder. So when would it become a problem for you? When all of the seats are sold to the richest people in the country who then start to make more laws that only benifit them? Protesting at that time won't do any good because we would have forfitted our right to vote them out. Just think, what ever political party you are against could buy up all of the seats then make there own little set of "LAWS" that doesn't consider the welfare of you or anyone else who doesn't run in their circle.
It only takes one time to turn a cheak and then a standard is formed within our (for now) government.
The other issued you mentioned should have been addressed properly as well.
I feel that we citizens of the USA should hold our governing parties to a higher standard than we hold ourselves. They are suppose to represent us not themselves. At this time we are still a government of the people not for the people.

He is heard on tape saying he is stuck in the Governor's office and wants to get out. Why didn't he thank Federal prosecutors for breaking him free?
