A U.S. appeals court granted on Thursday an Obama administration request for a temporary stay that lifts a judge's ban on federal funding of research involving human embryonic stem cells.
The three-judge panel of the appeals court said in a brief order that it put on hold the judge's ban to give it sufficient opportunity to consider the merits of the administration's emergency request for a stay.

The hypocrites of the regilgious right forget that those people who go through INVITRO sacrifce nearly 10 "embryos" for every session they go through to get pregnant (at over $20,000 a pop). The rest have to be discarded.
WTF are you talking about? Where in this ruling is anything discriminating against WHITE MEN? Last I looked, ALL nationalities go to fertility clinics to have eggs removed to use for invitro use.

Where is your outrage for the thousands of embryos discarded every year by those that wish to get pregnant through invitro?
YOU do know, just to have ONE embryo take for pregnancy, that they need to insert 5-10 embryos into a woman right? and that 5-10 is from a batch of at least 20. The rest? Are thrown away!
There is a big difference in embryo stem cells and adult stem cells. Funny when there is discussion about stem cells people do not make the distinction. Probably because it won't cause as big a ruckus if you put the right label on what you are talking about.
