Can we at least agree that President Obama means well? (enemies, Barack Obama)

I am still waiting for audio or video examples of a mean spirited, clearly anti-American Barack Obama spewing hatred.
I feel that many of his ideas are flat-out wrong but I do not see this obvious disgust for America that some of his more rabid enemies claim he exhibits.
Wouldn't it be better for America to try to work with him to push his ideas more towards the mainstream rather than try to destroy his presidency?
I agree with you. I'm conservative politically, but i really find it hard to believe that Obama hates this country, or wants to do bad by it (on purpose). With that being said, i disagree with a lot that he has done ... but again, I don't think its on purpose.
I don't think Obama hates this country, I just think he knows much of what he is doing is wrong, but don't care. I think he is so set on doing the things he wants to do, that he doesnt care about the consequences.

Means well for whom?
Certainly not us typical, middle class taxpayers!
.
I don't know if he hates this country or not but I'm sure he doesn't like the American way.
He thinks we consume too much we have accumulated too much wealth we've been arrogant as a country etc, etc.

So the "American Way" is to consume too much, accumulate too much wealth and be arrogant? If that's the case, I'm on Obama's side. We DO consume too much and we are arrogant (mostly born of induced ignorance) about our position in the world. I believe Obama's RHETORIC is well-intentioned, but like all politicians, it's followed up with well-hidden lies, ones some expose to a population that chooses to ignore them. I disagreed with practically everything Bush2 did and said and I don't think he put America's interests front and center at any point in his disastrous terms in office. I think the puppeteers learned from their Bush2 experiment and know better how to pull Obama's strings, moving his mouth to say what the current majority wants to hear.

he's a politician. he does what politicians do. republicans are controlled by religious freaks, and democrats are controlled by eco-terrorists. I almost feel sorry for obama. it's as if he was so naive, that he didn't know what he was getting in to.
