The TEA party is not one group of people, its a loose collection of hundreds of small, individual groups of people.
People like Powell are trying to force some sort of national TEA Party figurehead to come out with a party platform, and its not going to happen. I don't see him demanding a list of cogent political policies from the moderates.
Yes.....I see......."a loose collection of hundreds of small individual groups of people"............more like a mob than a political organization.
He was a hero when he was a soldier. He hasn't been soldier or a hero for a very long time.
As a politician, he sucks. He needs to stay at home and mow the lawn...
Powell is a RINO. The "party" didn't betray Powell but every RINO betrays the conservatism that is the foundation of the GOP. I respect his military service but ret. General Powell is anything but conservative in his politics.
Thank you! He is no moderate.
We all saw him use satellite imagery to prove that Iraq had WMD's.
So, for him to vote against McCain is worse than a Rhino. He's a traitor to his party. He is not being truthful to call himself a moderate Republican. It is my opinion that it was a personal vendetta against McCain.
Pressing On did you know that the sat images came from MI9, not from Cheyenne Mtn
Donna he still is a hero, I do agree that he would not be an effective elected official but his political influence and lobbying for military personnel is essential
Powell is about the only republican with a conscious and calls out the stupidity that the right does. It got him thrown under the bus by bush, but gained much respect by others.
The illegals that do his home repairs also mow his lawn.
Hahahahaha!
