Those links only serve to prove that the Tea Party is equivalent to the Republican party. Both articles point out that it was shocking for the Tea Party to "break ranks" or catch the local tea party leaders "off guard" and support a Democrat. In one case, the Republican candidate is an alleged murderer.
Then you betray your absolute ignorance on this. The Tea Party Express is a political organization centrally organized (and dominated by the GOP yes), the "Tea Party" nationwide is made up of local unorganized groups, no central authority, and quite diverse.
Tea Party=GOP, the name is simply an effort at rebranding. To pretend anything otherwise is foolish.
The whole teabagger movement is just a front for the same old Republican party.
Actually the Tea Party is more radical and more Conservative version of the Republican Party. Based on his actions of raising taxes, bailing out social security and running up huge budget deficits Ronald Reagan would be thrown out of the present day Tea Party, yet he is consdered by many to be the key figures in modern conservatism.
