Only with crazy liberal math does 6.8 become lower than 1.92 per day.
Just to quote what was said by Fox
"Two hundred and seventy seven U.S. soldiers have now died in Iraq, which means that, statistically speaking, U.S. soldiers have less of a chance of dying from all causes in Iraq than citizens have of being murdered in California…which is roughly the same geographical size. The most recent statistics indicate California has more than 2,300 homicides each year, which means about 6.6 murders each day. Meanwhile, U.S. troops have been in Iraq for 160 days, which means they are incurring about 1.7, including illness and accidents, each day."

Completely accurate. Fox was reporting about media priorities, and his quote was taken out of context and completely distorted as usual by the left.
You do like to back losing arguments. 6.8 deaths/day out of how many people(32mil)? 1.9 deaths/day out of how many people(130k)? Now, please tell me, which population would you prefer to be a member of? Let me try some other terms. In Iraq, you would be a statistic in 68,400 days. In California you would be a statistic in 4,700,000 days. Which of those is riskier?

Dude! Watch the video again. This time real slow and perhaps back it up a few times!

These are utterly meaningless statistics. I have heard of junk science but you (and Fox News) have invented junk mathematics!

he didnt say PER POPULATION, he said PER GEOGRAPHIC AREA... The math is correct because you do the math based upon SQUARE MILES, NOT population.. Had fox said PER population they would be wrong, but they CLEARLY said "geographical SIZE"

Makes the math
California 163,707 square miles with 6.8 deaths per day

Iraq 167,400 square miles with 1.92 deaths per day

Its clear that liberals dont watch Fox because they dont understand math and listen to what is being said..

You spent several threads defending these utterly meaningless statistics as if they were valuable to you.

Take a break. Go have a discussion with your significant other.
