It's fine to have revolving door lobbyist/representatives (which were just elected back into office by nitwits) catering to and stealing for the corporate hogs.
It's okay to have death and destruction for an illegal war based on lies for the sake of war profiteering.
It's okay to vote for candidates that want to privatize everything and although they squeal for smaller govt., they want to put their fat noses into everyone's bedroom (in case they are gay) and into every woman's womb....but the OP bashes Lawrence O'donnell because he refers to himself as a "practical European socialist".

Repeat: it is NOT illegal for someone to profess their preferences for socialism or communism in the United States.
In fact, it really would not surprise if more and more people start taking a more serious look at alternative economic ideologies in the years and decades ahead...
Actually, the problem with that is that we HAVE done that. So has Cuba, which is moving away from its collectivist mentality to a more capitalism based model, so is China. The US has learned from the mistakes of others, thats why we are and will remain a capitalist nation.
No, they slant news to their political means, hire political figures as commentators, and donate money to one political group.
They don't even give the other side a chance, and if they can make assumptions on their news show that show that the left is "crazy" they do that, instead of understanding the opponents view points, and attacking them on merit.
I didn't like Obamacare as passed, but that didn't mean there were death panels in it, a theory started by, you guessed it, Fox news.

I admire Lawrence O'Donnell even more after seeing that video clip.
What's wrong with believing in socialism? It appears that some right-wingers are very comfortable attacking and vilifying people based on their political views, instead of simply attacking the political views they disagree with.
It also looks like a lot of right-wingers don't know the difference between socialism and Communism.
