Of course there is.
The first step would be personal accountability.
Why dont you report the "relative" that you claim is scamming the system?
I prefer to let her hit rock bottom and work her way back up than to start a war within my family. And I have no idea why you would put "relative" in quotes, unless, of course, you believe I'm lying. If I'm such a liar, just ignore me and stop trolling, flaming and baiting.
Good jobs differ from person to person and qualifications...although I do believe those with degrees are finder it more and more difficult to find work...
I noticed some recent stats which listed those with college degree's as having more like a 5% unemployment rate, rather than the 10% enjoyed by the population as a whole?
Seems like that might mean that a degree is worth SOMETHING.

But it is still high, and it also cost $$$ to get a degree.
Solution, which is the same as the solution to the previous 430 excuses: Commute. Start your own business or do contract work. Learn a new skill. Relocate. Expand your horizons. Take a menial job and continue to look for permanent work.

If it were as easy as you say, post after post, there would be no UE problem. You have a poor opinion of your fellow human beings if you think everyone is out scamming the system, would rather sit on their duffs and collect UI than work, and worse.

So you spend money to be unemployed...
5% versus 10%? Sounds like not only do the stats on lifetime income in exchange for the education come back to you, but so do the odds for staying employed in a downturn. Certainly the recent hiring I did wasn't for secretaries, bookkeepers or billing clerks.
I think no-one EVER has abused unemployment...and have EXACTLY the same facts as you do....
The other poster didnt say there was no fraud, they said there wasnt any way to measure it..
