Obama had valid reasons for changing schools; SP doesn't appear to have had any....though she did tell her father that all the Asian students made her nervous.

Even her first choice after high school was typical of an Alaskan student--those who can get to Hawaii ASAP.
People really shouldn't make statements before checking them out. SHE WORKED HER WAY THROUGH. Choosing different colleges is not a discredit. She persevered and GRADUATED.

I thought he left was all about the getting of a college degree.

Maybe there is no difference between high school and college either? Right... Any old high school graduate is good enough. How about just a GED? Our next president should have a GED... Let's not be elitist here! Why should education be a consideration in our next president at all.

Give me a break. Colleges vary in quality. Obama went to three high quality schools. There is no disputing this. If having this attitude makes you feel better about your own education, go for it... But please realize you really sound like you have no idea how the university system works.

By the way it's "accredited" as in possessing accreditation. Maybe if you went to one of those "elitist" schools you'd know that.

So, give us another example of Obama doing "something" and getting away with it.

Enlighten us - please.

How wrong can some people be? You do know how some people work their way through college. You pay for 1 TERM at a time. If you choose a school and don't like it for whatever reason the next term you may choose another school. Nothing wrong with this. Except in the mind of Palin haters. And she did not quit her quest for a college degree. She graduated. sorry to break your bubble.

Smile Snopes says it is false...

Snopes says it is false but reading it is funny when you remember how Palin was put down for attending so many colleges. Obama did the same thing and had starts and stops in his education but no one touches him or puts him down about it. Double standard but it's allowed when you are----OBAMA.

... but it confirms your prejudices so you'll go ahead and run with it like it wasn't bogus.

As many posters have already pointed out, you comparison of Obama's college days to Palin's reveals your lack of depth. You're in WAY over your head.

Many people work they way through school, but it is usually the same school not 5 different mediocre ones. Sarah Palin's explanation does not address the frantic school hopping.

More BS. Switching colleges is akin to pi**ing away your hard earned money. Anyone who is serious about their education and has to pay their own way would definitely NOT go from mediocre private/out of state college to another mediocre private/out of state college five times.

Sorry, Palin may have been on a "quest" but it wasn't for an education.

I get it now. Any liberal who graduates form any Ivy league school earned it. Their family ties had nothing to do with it.

If a repub graduates he/she is still stupid and EVERY lib who graduates is the best educated people in the world.

Aren't to biased are you?

Bt the way W learned to fly a jet fighter. If you think that it showed in his inability to process complex situations, you really don't what you are talking about.

I'll bet all the tens of thousands of people who graduated from any of these schools have a different opinion then your high and mighty elitist attitude.

I think that you mean an accredited college

However, you can not compare the level of academic challenge of a Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia to that of a lower tier school such as Hawaii Pacific or North Idaho University. To make the statment that all colleges are the same is to show a lack of knowledge regarding higher education.

And again, Sarah Palin never explains why she trotted through 5 different mediocre schools.

I'm not going to defend Palin, but I wonder the why the CD liberals don't point out the FACT that Mrs. Obobo could not even pass the Illinois bar Exam, yet held a $300,000/yr NO SHOW DO NOTHING CHIEF OF DIVERSITY (ROFLMAO) Job - (a.k.a. dirty Chicago Politics slush fund laundered through the University of chicago Hospital to Mr Obobo via Mrs. Obobo's NO SHOW DO NOTHING JOB).

p.s. - since Mrs. Obobo left for DC, the position she held was not filled - it was eliminated.

Funny how that works.

At least Palin worked.

The Obobo's (like all liberal socialists, suckle from the teat of other people's money).
