Will the U.S. experience be the same?... The Low wage working class working for nothing after getting a college education...

Look at the top threads in "Politics and Other Controversies": racism, gays, Capt America Movie, Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin and masturbation, Obama's birth certificate, etc.

The populace has the attention span of a gnat and it's getting dumber by the minute. A lot of people in this country are alive today due to the liberal use of antibiotics, good genes and DUMB luck; otherwise, Mother Nature would have done away with them (and their stupidity) a long time ago.

In summary: NO.

LOL, this is a representitive democracy, the Republicans are carrrying out the will of the people. The agenda you attribute to them is laughable.

For the record the Republicans can't do diddly without the Dems, they control the Senate and the Presidency.

But they will use the opportunity to go loot the local Wallymart.
When the checks stop coming in they WILL do something.
It just won't be for political reasons.

I think that protests in Egypt and other countries in the Middle East demanding more political and economic freedom is a stern warning to the current Obama regime in Washington. If you don't change willingly, the people of the United States (who are heavily armed) will force it.

I'm sure they are aware of it.
That cyber security bill..the one that gives "Emergency powers" over the cyber infrastructure to the President just got moved onto the Congressional calendar last month (12/15). That puppy did not die last June.

And the MSM reported NOT A WORD.

It's like the Patriot Act of the Internet.

Is there any circumstance that you think would justify the government shutting the internet down?

Stop breeding like bunnies.

What jobs are illegals taking from you? Really, do you want to be a seasonal farm worker? Do you want to clean toilets in your local motel?

Your decades late for outsourcing.
Do you really expect to stop outsourcing?
It's a world economy, and remember, the free market will correct itself.

For now,..The frighting part is the republicans and tea party are even calling for these outrageous actions. If the right had complete control, that could be an even more disastrous reign then when they did before under W.
