In case you haven't noticed, the majority of constituents are Republican.

Not the ones who voted in Democratic members of the Senate

And I sure don't see tens of thousands of conservatives showing up at the statehouse in support of the governor over this one...

They should drag them back in handcuffs if that's what it takes. They are using the citizens money for their stupid games!

Derelicts! They should all be recalled (if it's allowed in WI).

Thank you to all the elected officials across the country that are trying to solve our fiscal problems. And shame on those who have their heads up their asses.

I'm assuming you don't live here. There is an overwhelming majority in the state congress of Repubs. We now have a Republican governor. Feingold was dethroned. The people have spoken.

Are you so incompetent that you can't negotiate the wages and benefits you need with your employer? Maybe you should seek out a therapist instead of a union. Get some self-help books. Go to one of those motivational seminars. Hypno-therapy.
Are you so naive (as a retired military person, I believe, enjoying very high wages for what you did as compared to the civilian sector) as to believe that an individual can negotiate as well as a union? The employer does have the upper hand; can tell the employee to go to h***, that others are happy why isn't s/he, etc.

Just what number of people do you think would make it legit? The entire state? Good grief....

The new governor has simply decided that since he doesn't personally like unions, he's trying to try to shut them down. It's upset LOTS of voters there, and they're being about as vocal about it as they can be. THAT'S democracy in action.
Actually some students were taken there by their teachers. The kids had no idea what was going on or why they were there.

You'd think they could at least flee to the Gulf to help support those poor folks who lost so much revenue because of Obama's mishandling of the oil spill and his moratorium on drilling???
