Christie admits politicians made promises that can't be kept. I'll believe he's the real deal when he goes after the benefits those politicians receive, until then he's just a grandstanding snake-oil salesman.
The real reptiles in this stroy were the Dems who ran Jersey into the ground. Christie deserves huge props for fighting for the taxpayers of that long-suffering state. The vituperation which is directed at him on a daily basis by the DNC and its apologists here and in the media are clear evidence that he is drawing blood from tick-like unions and the state bureaucracy.

Well gee, I owned a house in NJ for 26 years, for 16 of those years we had a Republican Governor and every one of those years my taxes went up so this allegation it's all been caused by one party is just a load of crap!
you good Republicans probably still love Newt Gingrich. Amazing. Christie tells a voter to mind her own business, feels compelled to take a helicopter to his kids game, he has a big mouth and feels he is entitled. He is another Republican windbag.....
I am so impressed with this new Governor's stance on doing what is right for his state and ultimately the country; his commitment to stand up to the nasty opposition of union thugs who are dragging this country down, and hold firm in his conviction and fulfill his promise and duty to help get his state back under fiscal control. I think he deserves all the support in the country, not just his state, because he is out there in front, setting an example for the rest of the country. If he succeeds, we all succeed! Go Walker!
Yes driving down middle class worker salaries will certainly get us to the third world faster. I've been contributing to his opponents for months and I don't live there either
