When it comes to choosing the right person for any given job you must look at the person's abilities and traits, not simply make assumptions about what they are like based on their physical gender, ie. in a pool of applicants, a male applicant might be the best choice for a nanny job, and a female may be best as a police officer.

BTW, being anti man is not okay, and intelligent women will fight against such behavior.
Isn't it odd how some people think that women who want equality must hate men? Is it because THEY hate(fear) women??

Everybody believes something. Some people believe the truth, some believe a lie. I'm with those that believe the Bible is the truth. And yes, it is frustrating discussing issues with someone that believes differently. There is nothing in the Bible that precludes a woman from being the head of a nation. Again, I cite Debra in the Old testament. I will gladly vote for a woman if she is the best candidate for leading our troubled nation.

Since this is the template for life as a whole, I assume it would follow into the world as a whole. People ask me why I think God knows better than I do and I say: I know better than my son (5yo) and although I am sure he doesn't always see the logic of everything I tell him, he doesn't have all the information I do about the subject. That is the way I feel toward God. Some things God says to us don't sound right to our SUPERIOR HUMAN LOGIC , but I feel God has more information on the subject than do I.

You must bear in mind that your God is not my God and your religion is not my religion. You can not force it upon others. I'd say if it limits your ability to see a woman or man as an individual it is a bad thing. However that is my opinion. You have no more right in my mind to speak about God's wants or wishes than a muslim, hindu etc... And nor does it matter to me. If your excuse is your religion then fine.

The thread topic is a useless question because women are too emotional to run a country

Not all women are too emotional, I'm not. It takes a certain type of person to lead a country and do it well. It stands to reason that the pool of qualified Americans would be very small, and therefore would exclude non-leadership qualities such as emotionalism and poor judgment. In that echelon of individuals there must be women that are equally suited, but perhaps those types of people are not interested in politics, as the atmosphere is not rational or very rewarding. Not many people want that kind of public life, and certainly not someone who possesses the very qualities that this country needs as its leader.

Instead of repeating something engraved in your brain why don't you think?

You've NEVER seen a man being emotional?

You've never watched men give political speeches?

John Boehner, Republican Speaker of the House blubbers like a baby when he can't find his car keys. He is MALE.

You've NEVER heard of estranged husbands and boyfriends coming back home and murdering their ex's , their kids, all because these emotional wimps couldn't handle rejection??? Really ? You've NEVER seen THAT display of emotion!!??

AND, DUH, emotion can be a good thing...can make a leader much better than a robot with no emotions or only bad emotions....

AND women have managed to control their emotions enough to build countries, fly airplanes and spacecraft, sit on Supreme Courts (YOU DIDN'T), protect you , fight your fires, run corporations...

HOW has their emotions stopped them from doing all that????

yup. She doesn't have to be an idiot like Pelosi, but she'd better be pretty liberal like Hilary in order to get the democrat vote.

If Hillary Clinton had won the Democrat primary in 2008, she would be known as "the female president" however, if she decides to run in the future, she will be known as "the Obama appendage." In other words, her candidacy will be viewed under the scrutiny of how tied she was to Obama's loathed policies.

On the other hand, if Skippy had turned out to be decent, instead of the train wreck that he is...she might have been a shoo-in for prez in 2016.
