It doesn't matter how hard they train. The local FD and PDs will be completely overwhelmed if a 9.0 earthquake ever hit CA. That is the point.
. . .
In a 9.1 earthquake like what hit Japan where roads have crumbled, firetrucks won't be able to get around, bridges will have collapsed. The number of civillians will outnumber local rescuers by 1000 to 1. Ambulances won't be able to get around. Do you understand the destructive force of a 9.1 earthquake? LMAO! Go practice cribbing lady because you live in a fantasy world.
DUDE, what the HELL do you think the POINT of the CERT PROGRAM IS???
We're trained as FIRST RESPONDERS precisely BECAUSE it's well-known that traditional first-responders won't be able to get to everyone, if anyone at all, with emergency vehicles.
LOOK IT UP.
EDUCATE YOURSELF.
And I'd much rather live in my world, where my husband and I are fully trained to help save the lives of those around us in a disaster, as opposed to your world, where the only one who matters is your dog.

Yes unfortunately my dog is more important than some human beings.
If the original post and title of this thread was sarcasm, then it's more than run its course. Thread closed.
