"The International Atomic Energy Agency said in a statement that diesel generators that normally would have kept cooling systems running at Fukushima Daiichi had been disabled by tsunami flooding."
Nobody planned on a tsunami following a major earthquake?
I kinda think that most of what we hear in reports is skewed to avoid panic. It's only when the s really hits the fan that we get the real deal. Fact remains a nuclear power plant has experienced a major explosion. Not good.

I think the Japanese are being purposely closed mouthed on this right now - not to be evasive but, like stated above, to avoid panic. Being stoic is their nature. I think they are attempting to handle it themselves and if they are not successful - well, we'll all know about it, won't we?
I woke up and first thing I did was read about the nuclear power plant...things are bad...I hope if there is a way the US will try and help because all hell will break loose if this doesn't become contained and quick
