So, according to you, Obama should've hopped in a helicopter, flown to Japan, brought and handed out food, rescued people, stopped the leak in the nuke plant, doctored the wounded...
and you see nothing odd about "thinking" that way.... LOL!
Well, I never accused repugs of having too many brains....
And if he had the righties would have found something to whine about, it is what they do best these days.

No, just the Repug posters who thought Obama should've hopped in a helicopter, flown to Japan, brought and handed out food, rescued people, stopped the leak in the nuke plant, doctored the wounded...

Then they would have complained that he is supposed to be our president taking care of our problems at home...not aiding foreigners in the name of the worldwide communist revolution...

Yup, and as per normal for Repugs and their leaders they can ONLY offer criticism, no thoughts on what he should've done, could've, no plans on what they would've done...in other words, they have nothing but their hate for Obama.......and hate eats a person from the inside out...

Honestly...I think he's an inexperienced amateur. That's why I refer to him as "Skippy". But calling him a "scumbag fraud" and "idiot clown" is really kind of mean-spirited and over the top. Do you honestly expect the libs treat a GOP president decently in 2012 if we keep up this type of rhetoric?
So your degrading names for O. are OK, but not other people's? It's not that I don't agree with your last two sentences; I just think you could can the "Skippy" business, too.
No fan of the President here but I see this more as yet another PR error and not a leadership mistake.
Think about Chris Christie in Disneyworld when NJ had yet another snowstorm. He trusted the snow emergency people knew how to do their jobs. I totally agreed that he did not have to hold their hands or wave the green flag for them to know they should start doing their snow emergency jobs as it's not like NJ has never seen snow before.
Well, President Obama sent the military to Japan to help out. Not too long ago they had to do it in Haiti. I totally think that he does not have to sit by the phone and hand hold our soldiers in providing aid/assistance to Japan. In fact, he would be an impediment if he did. So, his reaction to the disaster was good. However, his advisors probably should have told him what does and doesn't LOOK good in photos and on TV when another country is losing thousands of people and so much property is decimated by a natural disaster. It makes him LOOK stupid/uncaring/aloof. He's got too many academics advising him. It happens too many times.
Thank you for a good post.
Honestly, what the hell do these people think a president does? Here's a clue: it isn't micromanage each and every operation of each and every organ in the apparatus of the state. In this case, the US military near Japan is providing what aid they can and the Japanese sure don't need Team America™ to save them from something they deal with yearly and we don't.

Nothing much going on...so party on Hussein!
I seem to remember Bush running off to the ranch fairly often. Actually I think he took more vacation time than any other president in his first few years.
