What exactly would you have Mr Obama to do? Fly to Japan and further impede their rescue efforts. How do you know he went to play golf, because the media said so?
As if Obama's presence would have actually accomplished anything.
What he did do is send our Navy and Marine Corp disaster relief teams that are helping the Japanese to provide aid to the survivors. This is all any President could do.
I resent and object to “Georgia Dems” attempt to politicize this tragedy. That is highly inappropriate. There are tens of thousands of dead and injured. Show some respect.

This is just scary to think that some will just vote for whomever no matter their views because of a dislike of Obama.
So just what is Obama supposed to do over there. he has done what he could. poeple bashed Bush because the disaster happened in this country not overseas. Bush waited days before he sent help to NO and waited even longer before accepting help from foreign countries. big difference but the right doesn't see that of course, they just need any excuse to slam the president.
