1. How do we know they are innocent civilians? Taliban fighters and their supporters don't wear uniforms.
2. How do we know they were killed by our troops and not the Taliban.
3. These photos are wrong but so was the decision of the magazine to publish them knowing the US Military was already in the process of punishing them through military court.

And they were right for roasting him. And this president should be roasted too if he approves of this behavior.

From my understanding though. The problem with this unit is that its commander. Use to run and hide from his troops while on patrol. And he use to throw grenades at them and then tell his troops to kill that person over there. Even though that person had nothing to do with the grenade throwing. Or am I confusing this with another story?

This is exactly why war is pure evil. Sick.

Sometimes -- in RARE cases -- military defense is necessary, but it should be avoided unless there is NO other option.

and whether you want to hear it or not, and it isnt pc at all, but most of these military recruits were troublemakers and idiots before they put on the uniform.

old habits are hard to get rid of.

in my area the only people who go to the military are people who were going nowhere and troubled youths.

Cut me a break - I've worked around the military for most of my career and am a vet.
People want to play war, then they're unbelievably stupid.
Really? What branch of service? What MOS? You say you're a vet and work around the military and yet most of your post on the subject shows at worse a hatred of the military.

The terrorist do ot wear military clothes so who knows who is a illegal combatant ands who is a civilian in a photo. That si why we have the rules of combat because many mix i with civilians to hide and even fight fromtheir houses. Terrorist don't care relly;it part of being a terrroist. Both sides shot any conbatant dressed in civilian clothes in WWII. Only soldiers dressed in unifrom are covered under the convention.

Yup! It would be a bit difficult to put your pieces together and have your relatives identify you if you are not careful.
