I could care less about gay people adopting kids if they provide them a good home and treat them with love and raise them right. Homosexuality is great for population control! I'd rather have two successful gay men or women raise 3 kids than some illegal mexican family trying to raise 3 on minimum wage.

Children need a mother and a father, not two moms or two dads. Children also grow up best in married households too.

Statistics show children who grow up with married parents do better in school, are less likely to drop out, less likely to experiment with and do drugs, and have a higher sense of well being than those who grow up with divorced or never married parents.

Little Rock surprisingly has a large gay population.

Lucky for you Thomas Jefferson is dead, because he'd probably kick your ass.

I'll just call your position on Constitutional rights what it is: hilariously ignorant.

I stated it outright when the referendum was placed on the ballot that it was a terrible proposal and if passed would be overturned by the courts. I told people not to vote for it, as in the end it would only cost the state money to defend it in the courts. And I did so right on this forum.

There were many people upset at the time this came to vote because there were several well-publicized incidents where gay foster parents had abused children in their care. As was pointed out by many of us who recognized this law as the Unconstitutional insult that it was, non-gay foster parents also abuse children in their care. Of course the law didn't explicitly target gay parents, it carefully tried to hide its intent, but given its origins, its intent was clear. And frankly, anytime a law tries to hide its intent, no matter what the law is, it should be shunned.

How well do kids do in foster care?

Children need loving parents. Gender, marital status, ethnicity, religion, that doesn't matter.

Science disagrees with you. Should we also ban single parents from raising children?
