Yes, abortion is legal, but it is not always available thanks to meddling pro-life crusaders, who intimidate hospital board members, doctors, and insurance providers.
It's only legal because of a narrow 5/4 decision by activist judges. Just wait until the make up the supreme court changes again. There are trigger laws waiting in many states once Roe is overturned because it's inevitable.

Have you read nothing here? So then what would happen?
But I think its clear we are all gonna have to agree to disagree here, and I think we can all agree on that as I don't see anyone's opinions changing here. I think this thread has sort of run its course. We'll let the mods be the judge of that.
Abortion will be illegal in many states that have setup trigger laws. California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Nevada and Washington have passed laws to retain legality if it is overturned.
And that is why I am coming out to fight, Salem. Fourteen years ago, Roe v. Wade allowed me to end a pregnancy involving a non-viable fetus, preventing prolonged suffering for her and, yes, my family, too. I will NOT stand by and see that option taken away for other women who find themselves in a similar position.

Well, then I see a lot of traffic happening towards those states if it will be overturned.

I doubt it will be illegal in cases where there's a major medical complication or risk of a non-viable fetus if it is overturned.

we will all stand with you. women will not give up their rights. we will not go back to the coat hanger days. funny people are "pro life" yet could care less if women die with a back alley abortion go figure
Salem, pro-life crusading tremendously complicated my search for a hospital and physician with corresponding privileges* in a situation that many people on both sides of the debate agree is a valid reason for abortion, making an already traumatizing experience for my husband and me ever so much more painful. So forgive me for not giving your doubts much weight.
* My doctor, who was willing to perform the procedure, did not have privileges at a hospital that would permit it.
