I hope every slaveholder when bankrupt as a result of their participation in the evil practice. Since you're all about compensation, I'm sure you would've also stood behind an agreement to compensate newly freed slaves for their years in bondage, right?
Agreement with whom??? I recall the country of Liberia was created in Africa for repatriation of any former slave that wanted to go home. I also recall Hilton Head Island, SC being GIVEN to former slaves as compensation. They turned around and SOLD it back to whites.
Free "room and board" and a nifty healthcare plan was provided to ALL slaves.

They were given 40 acres and a mule in addition to their freedom. However, those reperations were only paid by the South (via confiscation) without any compensation forced upon Northern slaveholders. Then of course the carpet baggers from the north swooped in and made them political slaves all over again, the same as JJ Jr.s party does today.

The problem with slavery is that the Europeans were the first people to ban it into law. Your people didn't stop enslaving each other until the Whites forced them to although it still continues over in Africa today.

Shhh. How dare you acknowledge that Africans had a large slave trade. How dare you acknowledge that they continued it long after the Europeans banned it.
Oh, try studying history somewhere other than Wiki sometime too. Maybe you should pick up a history book from the late 1800's if you want one without revisionism on the topic of the "civil war" and slavery.
