Just as long as the answer is anything other than lowering taxes, I bet.

Two extremes..won't ever happen.
And while California laments over lost jobs their residents are flocking by the millions to Texas.

Go figure...the extreme left moving to conservative Texas (but congregating in the liberal cities).

I thought Gov. Moonbeam had decided that the way to get California out of debt was to spend billions of tax dollars on green energy, which will cause electricity rates to "necessarily skyrocket" and bring economic bliss to California.

They are like a plague of locusts, their liberal policies make a state unattractive to live in, so they flee to another state, infect that one, and then flee on to the next, and so on...

Since Employers have been fleeing to Texas for the past 15 years, and I'm a born Texan living in California for over a quarter century, my reply would be: Keep doing what you've been doing.

There are reasons Silicon Valley moved to Austin.

Edit: To add

Why is Austin enjoying more boom than Houston? Could it be more reasonable Travis county property taxes than the exorbitant rates in Harris county?
Texas doesn't have personal or corporate income tax. California income tax is nearly as high and in some cases higher than federal.

Could be true, but their is another possiblity. We have lots of CA refugees here in Idaho. It it mostly conservative, successful, productive members of society. Seems like they are leaving in droves. This leaves liberals to sink into the quicksand of alturism, unemployment, taxes and an out of control welfare state.

Having a bunch of oil and natural gas in Texas does help. The rigs are going full tilt in the Fort Worth/Barnett Shale area.

You are the lucky one then. We have liberal movements going on here in Texas in the cities.

Austin wants to become the Greenest City in America and that comes at a steep cost.
Many old time natives are leaving the city because it's becoming too expensive to live there.

The libs pushed mass transit so now we have a million dollar empty train that runs twice per day. And they want to build more lines now.
The roads are clogged with cars and they want more empty trains

California asks Texas for their recipe on job creation

First, pass that high speed rail thingy, then give all the liberals a free ticket

That's too bad. Austin is on, or near the coast isn't it? My theory is that it's the salt air, causes brain damage. How else do you explain the stupidity coming from both coasts? Although my theory falls apart with Chicago, they're about as far from salt water as you can get.
