Ok, we could break this down by age groups, let's say 16 to 25, 26 to 35, 36 to 45, 46 to 55, 56 to 65, and 66 to 75. That is six groups and therefore 16% of each group should be hired. This would make things fair and ensure a chance for all in the workplace. Additionally, diversity is touted as this wonderful thing so what better way to bring together the young and the old to both learn and pass down skills?

Who agrees with me? If I were running things, it's how things would be done. No more age discrimination allowed and quotas to be filled.

Thoughts?

Ridiculous. Put down the Karl Marxx Brothers.
Businesses decide who to hire based on their needs, not the whims of ideologues.

Yes, and 14% should be black, 5% Asian, 1% Native American, 3% homosexual, 0.5% handicapped, etc.

No thanks. No quotas, please.

Well, I can see you are not all into fairness here. And I will go along with the racial quotas too, btw.

Furthermore, if we are going to enforce the laws of this country, it just makes sense. No more age discrimination on either end.

You know what? If I owned a part of that company, I would. And I'd also set it up that way too.

What better way to motivate people to perform and it would almost be like utopia. Thanks for the great idea Driller.

And I'm sure your bank would only take 1/2 your mortgage as well.

It doesn't have to be this way. Why should you get rich off of someone else breaking their back?
