I could say the same about all of the former Texans who live here now. (and believe me, there are a LOT of them.)

Anyone who believes anything written at Breitbart, a site known to constantly lie and make things up, should be laughed at for being the dullards they are.

BTW California is currently leading the nation in job creation and unlike Texas they're mostly good paying jobs and not minimum wage jobs.

That's mostly a myth (that Texas only creates minimum wage jobs.)

In fact the major Texas cities rank well in rankings of income growth, and one of our major cities (Houston) is in the top 5 in the country for highest pay.

We're still a net gainer; however many of us move to CA, there's still more people from CA moving here to replace them. People have this illusion that Texas has endless land for sprawling and endless natural resources for that dual-zone HVAC system to heat and cool that 4k sq ft house some people just had to buy 35 miles away from work, not to mention the gallons and gallons of water they blow through every day keeping their postage-stamp lawn green (otherwise the HOA comes down like a ton of bricks) and to wash little Brayden and Kayleigh's Gap Kids togs...reality is...not so much. Watering restrictions and the threat of rolling blackouts for 2 years don't seem to have sunk in for these people yet.

As for Texans moving to CA, I think they're nuts.

Noted, but those are also areas with some of the highest costs of living in the country. Houston has one of the lowest of any major metro area.
