1- So, the nation was never divided. It only started after Obama took office. I wonder why?

2- So, there was no class wars before Obama took office.

3- So, racial tension was non-existent until a colored person took office. I wonder what brought it about, and who tries to reap the benefits?

4- Greed and corruption were born on Jan 20, 2009 (or should I make that Nov 4, 2008?). Or, at least they weren't behind the scenes anymore. Right.

And to think YOU complain about blatant partisanship.

Unless you can come up with a real answer you have admitted he has accomplished absolutely nothing.

Has Skippy done anything to change any of that? Every time I hear of anyone disagreeing with them, the race card gets thrown down. It's not white people screaming racist.

It is illogical to believe that a person can change that for the better considering that insanity has an easier time to prevail. More so, if that person happens to be the reason so many get their knickers twisted in a wad and cry in pain. BTW, if race (or, more appropriately, color of the skin) weren't an issue, the post I responded to wouldn't have mentioned it.

...and the left is not upset about expanded wars, new wars, new debt, new unemployment and an economy that looks like a cousin to the great depression??? I guess only the sycophantic 0bama supporters, the politically partisan left is not pissed off.

Extreme left is as pissed about wars as the extreme right is pissed about the fact that we've not engaged in a war with Iran. I don't put too much value to extreme thinking. What I do is, what a politician promised, did he meet his promises and if he/she did not, did he at least try? Because I realize that we don't have dictatorship. So, the whims of an individual don't necessarily translate in reality. But then, such analysis and recognition makes pragmatism a necessity, that the vocal majority, primarily residing in the extremes, couldn't be farther from.

On economic conditions and unemployment, I think way too many were sleeping at the wheels to recognize the disaster waiting to happen for years before it did. To blame Obama for it, would be childish bickering at best with political game a priority over the security and welfare of the nation, the signs of a nation in decline.

let’s say it this way, his predecessor promised to be a uniter not a divider and failed. Liberals everywhere applauded the failure and derided him as a failure on the point.
Mr. Obama came in promising to be “post partisan” and we have seen partisan rancor rise to levels not seen since the days of Brooks and Sumner. What are we supposed to do? Excuse your guy when you gave no such quarter to ours?

It is a matter of perspective. With an attitude even you've demonstrated, such claims cannot materialize. One can try, and not win. Doesn't happen? As for Obama's predecessor, Bush, did promise to be a uniter and not a divider, only to follow up with actual words as "you're either with us, or with them".

ah well, I can agree that perspective is the central issue...

I can give explination all day long on how the predecessor was ill treated, and you can do the same with the current occupant but at the end of the day the result is the same.

Obama made a promise. He has failed to live up to the promise. He failed. You have given no quarter to The Predecessor, please explain why I should?
