This is the new estimate as of today.

Also, Condi Rice offered large ammo and weapons deal to Saudis, they are indifferent to it~~Bush must owe the Saudis some serious $$$ for his oil deals, so we Americans must pay........

Aside from the usual "think of the positive stuff all that money
could have done?" that can be made....
It was the Saudis who attacked us...I would think the Chimp arming
them an act of treason ?
The Nu-rightie spin on this should be hilarious

"So what if we are arming terrorists, Clinton lied"

Selling arms to a national military that has no proven ties to terrorists organizations is different than selling arms to Al Qaeda.

Also, America has been in bed with the Saudi's for a lot longer than Bush's term and nobody seemed as uptight about it before.

That being said, I'm not happy about my tax dollars being spent so heavily on a war that had no plan for a post Saddam Iraq and looks like a game of sandlot football with much higher stakes.

Hello Sunnyhunny. Thought I'd stop by and help you get your post going. What's the dems gonna do with all this investment in wishing for failure if Petraeus and the boys & girls pull this off and just maybe save yore little trillion dollar head from hiding behind a Berka. Hmmm. Maybe Hillary & Billary would have to postepone their opportunistic plans for grandeur, maybe keep using the old silverware a while longer. Cross your fingers and click your heels and pray for failure, so invested in failure what will we do?

1. Their fighting for your freedoms
2. Fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here, because Terrorists don't travel. But oh wait they've been here on 3 occasions attempting to blow up the world trade center and then finally suceeding.
3. If we leave the mideast will break out in violence...But oh wait its been that way for centuries....But oh wait they are fighting now.
4. To rebuild schools and win hearts and minds. Even though we have thousands of schools that need rebuilt over here.
5. To depose a threat that had links to al queda. One guy stationed in Baghdad who had committed to al queda after the war started.

See so many reasons....Why are you people so unpatriotic and unsupportive of the troops....
