So, Obama killed Osama. I got the Lock Ness monster the same way, took the DNA and threw it overboard! I heard that they thought Osama had died a long time ago and it seemed that they really weren't even sure who he was in the first place (funny, many weren't sure who Obama was in the first place) and just how many relatives would there be. I question the whole thing - not that I don't trust our government. How timely. Wonder if the same agency that came up with a birth certificate (like so many illegals have) did the DNA test. Everyone realizes that killing one man, evil or not, will not have any impact on the organization? We need jobs!

Even a 7 point increase would surpass the boost he received following the assassination attempt on Rep. Giffords.

So, how high can it go? 10 points? 20 points? Will he surpass Bush's 90%?
I am sure he will get at least a 7 point boost, maybe 10 points. It will most likely last for only a few weeks, but if he doesn't get it, we know he is in reall danger of losing in 2012.

I'm glad he got the bastard, but his economic policies are killing me. I just paid $70 for 16 gallons of gas and realized I wasn't going anywhere this summer for vacation.

Wait till the vacation economy collapses as people are stuck at home with a grouchy spouse and kids. That will do wonders for his ratings.

If something had gone wrong then Obama would be taking the blame - like Carter did with the failed Iran hostage rescue. If Osama wasn't there, if there were civilian or US military casualties, then Obama would be blamed. He could have played it safe and opted for an air strike but weighed the risks and sent US troops deep into Pakistan to attack an urban fortress. He is Commander in Chief, not a rubber stamper, and with that responsibility comes the blame and the rewards. The buck stops here.

18Montclair...
Obama himself shot Bin Laden? I didn't realize he was so proficient in the use of firearms.

If something had gone wrong, I'm willing to bet we never would have even heard about it...

I suspect his bounce will last about as long as his Giffords bounce.

Unfortunately high fuel prices, high food prices and high unemployment can't be wiped out by the Seals taking out OBL.
