If you are conservative, you're proud of our military, the president and our country for finally nabbing Bin Laden and breaking al-Qaeda. Today we may not have won the war, but we've won a serious battle. You also give some credit to George Bush.

If you are liberal, this is a great moment because Obama's poll numbers are better. You also get to make immature talking points about "cleaning up Bush's mess" and about how "LOLz I can't believe Bush couldn't get him."

Sad

You nailed it.
Conservatives think of what is good for the COUNTRY.
Liberals think of what will win them the next ELECTION.

Did you not see the other trend where the conservatives give Bush ALL the credit for this and none to the current administration? Then there's the other threads where the Bush administration takes NO blame for the current economic crisis yet this administration gets it all? Can't have it both ways and those conservative attitudes cause the liberal trends in post that you see. If everyone on both sides would be a little more realistic about it, then it wouldn't be so weird. But please don't say it's one-sided.

I would agree, that's the trend I have seen as well.

You re exactly right here, VTHokie. It was a collaborative effort with military, intel community and yes, some politicians (Bush and Obama). It should be seen for what it is, not for political points. How about giving credit where it belongs...with the Seals and their leaders. Good job!

Yup, pretty much. It's also amazing to watch how quickly BDS bubbles to the surface. These people just can not let the man go, it's a little bizzare.

I think you need to read more posts, with an unbiased mind.

Tell that to the right wing nutters around here, I notice you're short on criticism for their ridiculous nonsense.

Sad.

OP, I think you should read this a few 100 times before you bash libs or praise conservatives...they're equally at fault for being one-sided.

Both positions are a joke.

We American citizens lost so much from this ill fated decision to hunt one man down at all costs, that to celebrate it now is the pinnacle of idiocy.

The only way Obama redeems himself in this sorry escapade, is to announce the withdrawal of our troops, the cessation of all aid to central asian and middle eastern countries and announce he'd like legislation introduced to repeal the Patriot Act.
