and eye for and eye to me is the best way to go.i dont like this forgive and forget way of dealing with someone who has hurt you or a loved one.i think that person should experience what there victim felt.alot of our no revenge,and being the bigger person is from our religious beliefs

of course, hillbilly law. if somebody knows he can get away with a crime, he's more likely to commit it.

Yes but unfortunately those lines were first laid down as law by Hammurabi, before Moses.

That's correct. There are many things in the Bible that date back to Mesopotamia, e.g. Noah and the flood.
