crime has been at its lowest point in years. you cant play that card anymore.
2009 there was 1,318,398 violent crimes.
even if a majority were committed by blacks(i dont know, but thats the card race people play in this forum), you have roughly 650,000 violent crimes. that black population in the us is over 40 million. 1.64 percent of the black population committed a crime and this guy i quoted is making it sound like some national epidemic.
thats what you call distorting statistics.
the truth is there is little violent crime.
what the race posters try and do is convince you that there is an epidemic because a minority may have committed the most number of crimes in that category, even though that category is tiny.
No one has said that most blacks commit crime. That is a fallacy.
Most inner cities are subject to crime EVERY DAY. Do you really think every crime is reported to the cops? Reporting the crime may lead to retaliation or the victim may have a record him or herself, so not every crime is reported.
How come its o.k. to quote government crime stats but government stats noting the last place finish of black kids in science and math from coast to coast is ignored.

To be honest, I didn't understand exactly what you were asking apart from linking to a completely unrelated thread about spanking which linked to another completely unrelated topic about effective discipline. How does that have anything to do with Ebonics?
That said, I'd appreciate if you didn't make generalizations about all left-wing people like that. I know a lot of posters do it with right-winged people as well, but I make an effort not to paint conservatives with a wide brush and would appreciate if you did the same by treating me as an individual and not just "another leftie".
