with weiner though, a more notable congressman who is liberal, oreilly goes after him multiple days.

thats why nobody buys that dumb fair and balanced tag.
You may have a point here, I don't remember his coverage of that or lack of coverage. Perhaps a difference here is that, as you mention, Weiner is "a more notable congressman." In addition, that guy resigned and was gone while Weiner has claimed his account was hacked then wouldn't answer questions about whether or not the picture was him and became combative with the press. Personally, I don't care what Weiner does, as stupid as this move would be, but his handling of it has made it drag on.

If he actually did send the picture, it would indicate that he was pretty dumb. If we had all dumb members of Congress resign, we wouldn't have many left ..... Hmmmm, on second thought....ah, but then it becomes an argument about, is your member dumber than mine.

That's how you want to play it? Ok.

The entire basis of that idiot's rant was something that O'Reilly was involved in back in 2004. According to O'Donnell, that case was settled. NO ADMISSION OF GUILT, and no jury trial.

So, using your own criteria, the idiot O'Donnell shouldn't even be talking about it, much less spending as much airtime on it as he did, but here you are, defending him and his rant like there's no tomorrow.

Spin away. I can't wait to see how you try to rationalize your defense of O'Donnell's rant after having your hypocritical position thrown in your face.

It's been widely reported that O'Reilly settled with Andrea Mackris for MILLIONS, let's see
what Bill O has to say tonight on The Factor....

This wouldn't be so funny if it weren't for the mass of people on this thread picking on such relevant factors such as the manner in which O'Donnell speaks. Honk honk!

No doubt. To pay someone off with multi-millions of dollars to keep their mouth shut would only happen in a very serious case. I'm sure we're talking marriage ending, fired from fox, long term prison sentence actions.

Let's play lawyerball! Are you so naive to believe that wealthy guilty people don't pay off the victims and the judicial system to avoid prosecution for their crimes? Few innocent people settle for millions out of court.

As it pertains to this discussion, and more specifically the point you made about Weiner not having been found guilty of the offense in question, it doesn't matter. Don't deflect - it's unbecoming.

Your implication is that since Weiner hasn't been convicted of anything, then he shouldn't be attacked. O'Reilly also wasn't convicted of anything, yet you've got a man-crush over O'Donnell for doing exactly what you're saying that people shouldn't be doing.

The hypocrisy that you're demonstrating is just dripping.

Are you so naive to believe that wealthy innocent people don't "pay off" extortionists to keep from having to deal with the stress and expense of fighting such a battle? Not to mention the damage done to their reputation, regardless of the outcome.

But again, whether or not O'Reilly actually did what his accuser(s) claim, IT DOESN'T MATTER. He did not admit guilt, and there was no jury trial.

Hypocrisy stinks, and this thread reeks of it.
